Privacy
Discretion is the heart of what we do. This page explains what we collect, why, who sees it and how long we keep it.
This policy is a draft and is being reviewed before launch.
What we collect
When you apply: your name, date of birth, nationality, city, phone number, email, work, marital status, children, what you are looking for and, for women, two photos.
During your interview or consultation: notes from your matchmaker about your values and what you want. For men, the results of verification checks.
After each date: the feedback you choose to give.
Why we collect it
Only to run the matchmaking service: to decide whether we can help you, to find a suitable match, to keep members safe, and to keep the records the law requires.
Who sees it
Your matchmaker and, where needed, the founder. Your profile is shared with one person at a time, only once you have agreed, through a private link that expires after seven days.
We never sell your data, never share it with advertisers, and never publish your photos or story without your written consent.
Your photos
Photos are stored privately. Location data is removed when you upload them. When shown on a profile link, each photo carries the name of the person viewing it.
How long we keep it
If you leave, or if your application is not accepted, your data is deleted 12 months later, unless you ask us to keep it. You can ask for it to be deleted at once.
After deletion we keep only anonymous figures, such as how many people applied, with nothing that identifies you.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, to correct it, to receive a copy, or to have it deleted. Ask your matchmaker, or write to us at the address below.
